Fire Detection Systems

Every building in East Anglia, regardless of its purpose, should be professionally fitted with a fire detection system.  In an emergency situation, the early detection of a fire can save lives and will minimise damage to your property and belongings.

At Alarming UK Ltd, we design fire detection systems for commercial and residential properties in the East Anglia region.  Our fire detection systems range from conventional systems through to large networked multi-panel intelligent systems. Following a review of your premises, we will supply, install and maintain a fire detection system that will provide you with the most appropriate fire detection system giving you round-the-clock peace of mind.

Conventional Fire Alarms

From domestic homes, small shops and offices to medium sized buildings, Alarming UK’s  conventional fire alarm systems are a cost effective way to draw early attention to the start of a fire.

Detectors can be installed at various zone points throughout the building. When a detector is triggered, a fire alarm control panel will indicate which zone has been triggered. This provides you or the Local Fire Brigade with an early indication of the hazard area.

Addressable Fire Alarm Systems (Intelligent)

In larger commercial premises, it is common to install addressable fire alarm systems which not only identify the area of the alarm but by using the control panels LCD display the exact device which has been activated can be displayed in real English text. This makes identifying the exact source of any potential fire more accurate in larger buildings

We also install and commission disabled refuge systems to compliment any fire alarm installation if this is identified at the design stage as being a requirement to meet DDA legislation

Some Statistics

Fire Kills logoIn England during the year April 2010 to March 2011 there were 57,000 building fires, of which 36,000 were in domestic premises and 11,000 were in commercial or public buildings.

Some 9,300 people were injured in fires during this period, and 321 people died.

Don't become a statistic. Have a fire alarm system installed, and sleep safely.
